One of the most enjoyable parties I ever attended was my friend Samantha’s casino party. We had a blast playing games, gambling with fake chips, and spending the night laughing and eating delicious food. A big barrel curling wand is my fave hair tool that I own. This is because it creates a gorgeous, bouncy wave, without being too tight or too loose. Just like Cheryl Cole! Make sure you curl away from your face when you’re doing the pieces closest to your face, and curl in opposite directions all over your head. Section your hair off before curling to make sure you curl as much as possible. Hair spray each curl as you go along.
Use a Hair Straightener
I’m no good with a hair straightener. Well, for straightening I’m OK. But for curling? Forget about it. You on the other hand, might take to this trick like a duck to water. Use a Waving Iron
Waving irons are so easy to use, and they leave you with that boho-beachy-wave look. You literally could have just stepped out of the sea and onto a festival field with this look. So Vanessa Hudgens!
Some people have naturally wavy hair. In this case, all you need to do is give it a good scrunch! You could use plain water, a mousse, or a salt spray to get the desired effect. Simply get a good amount of product in your hand and scrunch pieces of hair to get the desired look.
Plait your hair all over, and then leave in overnight. Plaits are big news at the moment, so this shouldn’t be a problem for you. The next step is to shake out those plaits and reveal bouncy waves! It’s so easy, a monkey could do it.
For the bouncy part, you might want to backcomb your hair at the crown of your head to get some height. This works really well on girls with round faces, who want to give their face a more ‘oval look’. I use this trick all the time.
Blow Dry It
If you’re skilled with a blow drying brush, you can blow dry your hair on a high heat, skillfully using the brush as you go to get that fresh out of the salon look. The great thing about this method is that the hair is always silky and shiny when finished.
Put in Some Rollers
Applying rollers like a true diva is another great way to get bounce and curls. This might be all you need to get that bouncy do!

Look The Part
From hair and nails to the ideal outfit, if you look good then you will feel like a million dollars, as the saying goes. Book any appointments a good few weeks in advance so that you don’t run the risk of nothing being available the week of your graduation ceremony. Make sure you know in advance what you want your hair to look like, so that you don’t make any rash decisions and regret it every time you look at the photographs.
When it comes to the right outfit, make sure you choose something which is pretty but comfortable. Not only will you have to wear it underneath your robes for a large part of the day but you also want to feel good and not awkward when you go on to the celebrations afterwards whether this is a large party with friends or a family dinner out.
